ABOUT THE NOOSA TRAIL
The Noosa Trail network is a dedicated network of eight scenic hinterland walking, cycling and horse-riding recreational trails through the Noosa Hinterland.
In existence for 20 years, the Noosa Trail Network is continually improved and upgraded by the local Noosa Council. The spectacular countryside trails are well signposted, and vary in length and difficulty. The walking trails are fully maintained and signposted and the Noosa trail network is punctuated by interpretative signs and rest shelters. The trail passes through National Parks, State Forest, private property, council parks and road reserves. The ground has been minimally modified, and you should expect encounters with fallen debris, holes, rocks, mud and grass. It is a truly fantastic resource to explore 'Noosa Country', as locals call it. You'll get to meet a few of them as the trail visits the hinterland towns or Cooroy, Pomona, Cooran & Kin Kin along its many and varied routes. |
